Facts

The term "Cemetery" is all the property for earth burials, any mausoleum for crypt entombments and niche inurnments, and includes any columbaria inurnment and in-ground cremation burial.

"Columbarium" is a free-standing structure which houses a varying number of niches for the inurnment of human cremated remains.

"Crypt" is a space in a mausoleum of sufficient size to be used to entomb full-body human remains.

"Entombment" is full-body burial above ground in a mausoleum crypt.

"Grave" is a space of ground in a cemetery used, or intended to be used, for the burial of human remains.

"Interment" refers to full-body, in-ground, earth burial.

"Inurnment" refers to the placement of an urn or approved container holding cremated remains into a niche.

The term "Lot" includes and applies to one, or more than one, adjoining grave.

The term "Lot Holder" includes the person or persons who have purchased interment or entombment rights, or who hold same by right of inheritance or transfer.

The term "Management" is the person or persons duly appointed by the Pastor of Sacred Heart Church for the purpose of conducting and administering Holy Redeemer Cemetery & Mausoleum, owned and operated by the Church of the Sacred Heart of the Diocese of Metuchen.

"Niche" is a space in a mausoleum of sufficient size to be used to house an urn(s) containing cremated remains.
